Quick Reminder Goals:
  • First and foremost, I want to be healthy.
  • I want to be able to wear anything in my closet and not think I look “fat” or question that my “rolls” are showing. :)
  • I want to look in the mirror and love the reflection looking back at me.
  • I want to make my husband proud to show me off and my son proud to have me be called his “Mom”.
  • I want to wear a sleeveless shirt and not be self conscious about my arm flab.
  • I want to have definition in my arms and have that look of “health”.
  • I just want to plain feel good about myself.

In order to achieve these goals I have set up “mini goals” to assist.  Having mini goals takes the focus off of the big goal that sometimes seems unattainable.  It gives me a number to shoot for and allows me to reach my goals faster (feeling the sense of accomplishment).

Weight
125 is currently my FINAL goal, but if I feel and look good at 130 or even 135, I’m great stopping there.  It really isn’t about the number on the scale.  It’s about how I feel and look, and whether I’m satisfied with myself. Numbers are just motivating for me to see.

April 16, 2010 – Start Date – 182.5
April 23, 2010 – Made it to the 170′s
May 7, 2010 – Made it below 175 and lost 10 pounds
May 14, 2010 – Made it to the 160′s
June 11, 2010 – Lost 20 pounds
June 4, 2010 – Made it below 165
June 18, 2010 – Made it to the 150′s
July 16, 2010 – Made it below 155 – halfway point
July 30, 2010 – Lost 30 pounds
August 13, 2010 – Made it to the 140′s
August 27, 2010 – Made it below 145
September 3, 2010 – Made my way into a healthy BMI
September 10, 2010 – Lost 40 pounds
October 8, 2010 – Made it to the 130′s
TODAY – March 30, 2010 – I’m weighing in at 152.0
